Alder Root offers a fairly large practice ground, (195 yards). This offers golfers to improve on their wedge shots, short game and any other shot from 190 yards and in. The practice ground is about 80 yards wide. There is an all weather teaching bay located close to the first tee which is ideal for a few practice shots or for the golfer who is determined to succeed no matter what the weather!

The practice ground has 5 flag sticks. The closest one being 25 yards away, and the furthest one being 180 yards away. The practice ground is very useful for the strategic golfer who wants to improve on those shots around the green.
